Felix Holzmüller is a researcher and Ph.D. student for sound and music computing at the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics (IEM) of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG). He graduated in electrical and audio engineering at TU Graz and KUG with a Master’s thesis on noise control architectures in 2022. His current research focuses on virtual sensing and perception of active noise control; furthermore he develops and maintains software for Ambisonic audio production. He has been chair and treasurer of the AES Student Section Graz and received a Gold award in the AES Paul Walker Student Design Competition in 2020.
